Missing by Ann Jones is a suspense novel about Detective Lyn Kramer and her twin sister Melissa Farnsworth. With the death of their parents, the twins were separated at a young age and grew up apart from each other. Lyn, with her Grandfather on her father’s side (otherwise known as “Pops.”) And Melissa, on the mother’s side of the family, in not so favorable conditions. Now they are both grown women with lives of their own. Lyn a detective and Melissa a teacher. When Lyn is called in to investigate a mysterious disappearance, she realizes immediately it’s her long lost twin sister. She is desperate to find out what happened to her and tries to keep their relationship a secret so that she won’t be pulled off of the case.
Move over Nancy Drew, there’s a new detective in town. Detective Lyn Kramer is on the case. I loved reading this story. It’s the kind of book that leaves you wanting to know…when the next one will come out. Ann Jones did a marvelous job of keeping me on the edge of my seat in this exciting suspense novel. I was captivated from beginning to end. And there was even a questionable love interest. I have to know! Ann Jones get a move on! The world is waiting (very impatiently) to know what will happen next when Detective Lyn Kramer is on the case! Beautiful work Ann Jones, Missing is one to add to my collection. I will be keeping my eyes peeled.
